DHAKA, Apr 4, 2026 (BSS) -   Hazaribagh Police   conducted a day-long special drive and arrested a total of 29 individuals on charges of various crimes.

According to police sources, the operation was carried out on Saturday across different areas under the Hazaribagh Thana jurisdiction. 

The arrested individuals include warrant-listed accused including muggers and drug peddlers.

During the drive, police recovered 12 pieces of contraband yaba tablets, cannabis, and one knife from the suspects’ possession.

The arrested individuals have been sent to the court for further legal proceedings.

Police officials said such drives will continue in the area to maintain law and order.
