RAJSHAHI, June 19, 2026 (BSS) - A views-exchange meeting was held between Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) and Public Prosecutors (PPs) of Rajshahi District and Metropolitan Courts at the RMP Headquarters on Thursday.

RMP Commissioner Foyzul Kabir presided over the meeting, where discussions were held on crime prevention, improving the quality of investigations and ensuring speedy justice for people seeking legal remedies.

The participants discussed various issues, including preparing accurate seizure lists, avoiding errors in charge sheets, and ensuring that investigation-related shortcomings do not affect court proceedings and verdicts.

They also exchanged views on maintaining a better law and order situation around court premises and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for justice-seekers.

The PPs shared their suggestions for making judicial proceedings more effective and people-friendly.

The RMP Commissioner stressed coordinated efforts among all stakeholders of the justice system to ensure quality services for the public.
