Expanding girls guiding activities to technical, madrasa institutions underscored

GAIBANDHA, JUNE 19, 2026 (BSS) - Speakers in a function here underscored the need for expanding girls guiding activities to the students of technical and madrasa institutions to help them build disciplined life in future. 

They stated that girls’ guide is the opportunity for the girls to build self-confidence and develop leadership skills. These experiences contribute to their personal growth, enabling them to navigate their lives with confidence and resilience.

They made the comments while addressing a daylong orientation on the expansion of girls guiding activities to the technical and madrasa institution to help build a well-organized nation in future. 

Bangladesh Girls Guide Association, district chapter, arranged the function.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Masudur Rahman Mollah attended the function and addressed it as the chief guest  and district education officer Md. Ataur Rahman and regional commissioner of BGGA Farida Yasmin spoke at the event as the special guests while additional district magistrate AKM Hedayetul Islam presided over the ceremony.
