measles prevention to the Director of Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital
(RMCH), Brigadier General PKM Masud Ul Islam, on Saturday.

Brig Gen PKM Masud Ul Islam expressed that the leaflet would play an
important role in raising awareness and said it would be distributed among
the relevant visitors coming to the hospital.

At the time, Rajshahi Deputy Commissioner Kazi Shahidul Islam, RCC Chief
Executive Officer Rezaul Karim, Chief Health Officer Dr. FAM Anjuman Ara
Begum and other health-related officials were present.

It is worth mentioning that due to the rising outbreak of measles across the
country, RCC Administrator Mahfuzur Rahman has instructed that awareness
messages on measles prevention be delivered to every household in the city.

Following his directive, an extensive public awareness leaflet distribution
campaign on measles prevention began across all 30 wards of Rajshahi city
area from Friday.

Through this initiative, city residents are being informed about the symptoms
of measles, preventive measures, necessary steps if infected, and the
importance of ensuring timely vaccination for children.

As part of the RCC's initiative, workers are going door-to-door distributing
leaflets among the general public and providing necessary advice to increase
health awareness.
