Tarique Rahman stands by families of deceased, injured in Milestone jet crash

DHAKA, Aug 20, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Acting Chairman and Amra BNP Paribar chief patron Tarique Rahman has stood by the families of the deceased and injured in the training jet crash into the Milestone School and College in Uttara.

At the directive of Tarique Rahman, a delegation of Amra BNP Paribar visited the homes of the injured and deceased in Sector 10 area of Uttara this afternoon.

Led by BNP Joint Secretary General and Amra BNP Paribar Adviser Shahiduddin Chowdhury Annie, the delegation met the concerned family members and expressed sympathy to them.

They met family members of injured teacher Ashraful Islam, teacher Sumaiya Rahman Lorin and students Tashruba Mahabin, Nur Jannat Yusha and the deceased Saria Akhter.

The BNP leader handed over one-time financial assistances to the injured and deceased family members on behalf of Tarique Rahman.

The organization’s advisers Engineer Ashraf Uddin Bakul and Abul Kashem, member secretary agriculturalist Moksedul Momin Mithun, journalist Jahidul Islam Rony, organization members Masud Rana Liton, Mustakim Billah, Shakil Ahmed and Rubel Amin were present.

BNP's Dhaka Metropolitan North joint convener SM Jahangir and Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP member secretary Mustafa Zaman, were also present, among others.
