DMP files 2511 cases over traffic rules violation

DHAKA, Aug 25, 2025 (BSS) - The Traffic Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has filed a total of 2511 cases across the capital over violation of traffic rules.

The Traffic Division filed the cases and realized fines during its regular drives on August 24, said a press release issued by DMP Deputy Commissioner (media and public relations) Muhammad Talebur Rahman.

Besides, a total of 397 vehicles were impounded and 92 others towed during the drive.
