DHAKA, Aug 25, 2025 (BSS) - The government has cancelled appointment of public prosecutor (PP) of the Patuakhali Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal amid criticism of his professional duties.

Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Ministry issued a gazette notification in this regard yesterday, saying that Md Ruhul Amin Sikdar's appointment to the Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal in Patuakhali as PP has been cancelled.
