DC stands by families of July-August uprising martyrs, injured

CHANDPUR, March 29, 2025 (BSS) –Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mohammad Mohsin Uddin today stood beside the families of the martyrs and injured of the anti-discrimination student movement of 2024 ahead of the upcoming holy Eid-ul-Fitr.
 
DC distributed Eid gifts to the families of martyrs and injured in every upazila of the district through proper channels.
 
According to information received here from the district administration, families of 31 martyrs and families of 145 injured were given Eid gifts in Chandpur district.
 
Besides, the district administration distributed Eid gifts among families of 29 martyrs from the July Shaheed Smrity Foundation.
 
Two kilograms (kg) of pilaf rice, two liters of soybean oil, four packets of vermicelli, one kg of sugar, one kg of powdered milk and some raisins were given to a family.
