NCP formed to end fascist regime: Akhtar

RANGPUR, Mar 30, 2025 (BSS) - National Citizen Party (NCP) Member-secretary Akhtar Hossain has said that the NCP has been formed to end rule of fascist forever in this country.
 “We students have organized ourselves and formed NCP so that fascist regime never returns to Bangladesh. We want to establish the civil rights and human dignity of people,” he said.

Akhtar Hossain said this at a discussion meeting and Iftar mahfil organized by the NCP in Chhawla union of Pirgachha upazila in Rangpur yesterday.

NCP member secretary said, Students spearheaded the mass uprising of 2024 which freed the people of Bangladesh from long fascist regime.
 Akhtar Hossain said, every person in the country has civil rights, human dignity and NCP wants to do politics to establish those rights.
 “This is our long cherished vision to create people's trust in fair politics and make people aware about their civil rights and human dignity,” he said.

Among others, NCP members Arif Hossain, Ekramul Haque, Sakhawat Hossain Sujan, and leaders and organizers of various organizations were present at the event.

Earlier Akhtar Hossain inaugurated the foundation stone of Dudu Mia Jame Mosque in Tambulpur union of Pirgachha upazila.
