3 women held with 132 bottles of Fairdyl in Lalmonirhat

RANGPUR, April 6, 2026 (BSS) – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 has seized 132 bottles of phensedyl-like Fairdyl syrup and arrested three women from the Sirajul Market Road area under Kaliganj police station in Lalmonirhat district.
  

On a tip off, a smart team of the RAB-13 from Rangpur in a raid seized the drugs and arrested three women from the spot at 4:15 pm on Sunday afternoon, said a press release signed by RAB-13’s Senior Assistant Director (Media) and Additional Superintendent of Police Biplab Kumar Goswami today.
 

The arrestees are Rupali, 43, of village Akkelpur under Akkelpur police station and Momena Khatun, 49, of village Chechra under Panchbibi police station of Joypurhat and Smriti Akhter, 24, of village Sapmara under Gobindaganj police station of Gaibandha.
  

After filing a case in this incident, the elite force handed over the arrested women and seized drugs to Kaliganj police station of Lalmonirhat for further legal action.
