Motorcyclist killed in Naogaon road accident

NAOGAON, May 3, 2025 (BSS) - A motorcyclist was killed and two pillions were injured as their vehicle rammed into a tree losing its control at Syedpur on Manikura-Jabai Beel road in Sapahar upazila of the district today. 

Police identified the deceased as Farhad Hossain, 20, son of Sayem Ali of Madhuil Alia Madrasahpara area of Patnitala upazila in the district.

"The motorcycle lost control in an apparent speedy movement and hit the tree, leaving Farhad dead on the spot, two his co-riders injured," said Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sapahar police station Abdul Aziz.

The accident took place as the trio was going to visit Jabai Beel after renting the motorbike from the Sapahar Zero Point area, he said.

Police recovered the body to his family members, the OC added.
