MANIKGANJ, June 21, 2025 (BSS) - A motorcyclist was killed as a bus hit his motorbike in Char Golora area under Satura upazila of the district today.

The deceased was identified as Tara Mia, 35, son of late Moslem Mia of Jagir village in Sadar upazila.

The accident took place on the Dhaka-Aricha highway around 8 am when a speedy bus knocked the motorcycle from behind, leaving its rider Tara Mia dead on the spot, said Sohel Sarwar, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Golora Highway Police.

Police recovered the body and sent it to Manikganj Medical College Hospital's morgue.
