Workshop on objective journalism held in Jhenaidah

JHENAIDAH, June 21, 2025 (BSS) - A workshop on objective journalism was held for the journalists working in the district. 

Bangladesh Press Council Chairman Justice A K M Abdul Hakim today inaugurated the workshop titled "Check Misreporting and Do Objective Journalism" as the chief guest at the Circuit House Auditorium of the district around 9am today. 

The three and a half hours workshop ended at 12.30pm.

Jhenaidah Deputy Commissioner Abdul Awal presided over the workshop while Bangladesh Press Council Secretary (Deputy Secretary) Md Abdus Sabur was present as the special.  

Among others, Police Superintendent of Jhenaidah District Md Monjur Morshed, Additional Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Saifur Rahman and District Information Officer Md Abdur Rouf, were present at the event. 

Journalists from print, electronic and news agencies took part in the workshop. Certificates were distributed among the journalists after the workshop.
