RAJSHAHI, June 22, 2025 (BSS) - The passing out parade of the 168th Trainee Recruit Constable (TRC) batch was held today at the Bangladesh Police Academy (BPA) parade ground in Sarda, Rajshahi.

BPA Principal Barrister Zillur Rahman attended the ceremony as the chief guest and called upon the newly recruited constables to serve the people with dedication.

He urged them to be pro-people and to devote themselves to eliminating criminals, including militants and terrorists, to ensure peace and security.

Giving various service-oriented directives, the BPA Principal said the new recruits must work sincerely to maintain law and order in the country, fulfilling the hopes and aspirations of the general public.

"Police must take the lead in ensuring the rule of law," he added, urging them to discharge their duties with utmost sincerity and honesty.

Earlier, the chief guest reviewed the smartly turned-out parade and saluted the impressive march-past.

Among the 357 trainees, Sabbir Hossain (PA/320) was named Best TRC and Best in Academics.

Suman Ali (PA/128) was adjudged Best in Field Activities, while Nurunnabi (PA/551) was recognized as Best Shooter.
