MADARIPUR, June 22, 2025 (BSS) - A man died of electrocution in the Shikdarhat area of Ditiya Khand union under Shibchar upazila of the district this morning.
The deceased was identified as Md. Robi Madbar, 45, son of Md. Ansar Madbar, a resident of the same area.
Robi came in contact with an electric wire while he was connecting electric line for charging his easy bike, said Ratan Sheikh, officer-in-charge of Shibchar Police Station.
He was taken to Shibchar Upazila Health Complex where the on-duty doctors declared him dead.
