5-member Parliament Secretariat Commission formed

DHAKA, April 4, 2026 (BSS) - A five-member Parliament Secretariat Commission has been formed with Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmed, Bir Bikram, as its Chairman.

In this regard, a gazette notification, signed by Parliament Secretariat Secretary Barrister Md. Golam Sarwar Bhuiyan, was issued on Thursday.

The other members of the commission are Prime Minister and leader of the House Tarique Rahman, leader of the Opposition Md. Shafiqur Rahman, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Md. Asaduzzaman and Finance Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury.

The Parliament Secretariat Commission has been constituted with the following members in accordance with Section 7 of the Jatiya Sangsad Secretariat Act, 1994, said the notification.
