DHAKA, April 8, 2026 (BSS) - Dhaka Wanderers Club edged past BRTC Sports Club 
in a 1-0 goal draw in a match of the Bangladesh Championship League (BCL) 
Football held at Bashundhara Kings arena practice ground in the capital today 
(Wednesday).

In the proceeding, Hemanta Vinsent Biswas scored the decisive goal for the 
winning side in the 45+2nd minute.

In the day's another match, Wari Club split point with ten men City Club when 
their match ended in a 1-1 goal draw held at Shaheed Barkat Stadium in 
Gazipur. 

In the day's match, Shaheed Mia put Wari Club ahead in the 66th minute while 
Shahriar Ahammed restored the parity for City Club in the 69th minute of the 
match.

Afroze Ali of City Club was shown direct red card by the referee for his 
unsporting behavior.
